Welcome UGM Professors Sudomo & Zessy
It is with a great sadness that Prima Plants Research and Development say goodbye to the brilliant professor Bahruddin Saleh, and at the same with great joy that we welcome Professors Sudomo (in the picture above in the middle) and Zessy in our midst. They are both (again) from the University of Gajamahda - what is considered the best Agricultural and Forestry University in Indonesia, where Prof Sudomo was working as an analyst of Oud Oil, Sandal Wood Oil, but also Wood Chips and many, many other trees from the original Jungles of Indonesia.

Prof Zessy is the Inoculum creator for the Sudomo Lab, but since Professor Sudomo is 'now wearing a PPI shirt' Prima Plantations Indonesia decided to renovate and add on a substantial amount of equipment to the new place that will be official PT. Primadomo Laboratorium In Imogiri, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia. One of the tasks that Prof Domo - as we call him - will work on the Gaharu extract that will become part of our three-in-one and two-in-one Coffee, Tea and Chocolate line of products. More news about in the not so far future.
A bigger job that he accepted already, with his assistants, is the work on the Khynam Clone. As most readers know we create our own Khynam Seedlings in our nurseries in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, but the Professors have perfected the way to definitely create clones from the leaves of the Khynam trees where in a period of only 6 months One Million Khynam seedling can be created. And that is necessary too, because our cooperation with the UMKM Department in Bangka-Belitung (Sumatra, Indonesia) many farmers are now asking for cooperation with Prima Plants Indonesia (above photo on the right, and on the left our own Iwan, the director of Research and Development). Over a million trees will be inoculated over the years on Bangka, a beautiful island near Sumatra, and there is ample space on the sister Island of Bangka called "Belitung". Farmers in Belitung have not jumped into the Gaharu craze in the past so they missed the boat so to say. PPI will now help with planting Khynam Seedlings in August 2025.
